Three loose blocks
Use when you want structure for today without a strict schedule.
My available window is [START TO END]. My fixed commitments are [TIMES AND DURATIONS]. My tasks, in priority order, are [TASKS WITH ESTIMATED DURATIONS]. Work step by step: divide the window into three named blocks, place fixed commitments first, then add at most two tasks per block in the remaining time. Reserve at least 30 minutes of unassigned buffer per block. Show the block times, commitments, tasks with durations, and buffer minutes on three lines, followed by a line of deferred tasks. Check the arithmetic. If an estimate is missing or a fixed commitment prevents a buffer, ask one question and wait. Otherwise ask whether I want to adjust the blocks and wait.

Sample AI reply Morning, 9 am–noon: report draft 60 min, reply to Sam 10 min, call 11–noon; buffer 50 min. Middle, noon–2:30 pm: groceries 60 min, book car service 10 min; buffer 80 min. Late, 2:30–5 pm: clean desk 20 min, tax folder 45 min; buffer 85 min. Deferred: none; all six tasks fit with the buffers. Would you like to adjust any block?
